Founder and Principal

Over the years I’ve given a lot of thought to what comprises Supply Chain talent, and I have landed on three fundamental elements. About half is common sense, which in my case has become refined over time to allow me to move quickly to the core of a problem. About a third is thoughtful and detailed analysis, which is a strength I’ve always tried to use to my advantage. And the remainder is gut feel, which is knowing how to balance the other two or deciding to take a different path altogether. This last element is what makes the work most fun and keeps me showing up everyday, and it remains a work in progress.

 

DRIVING COST-EFFICIENT, HIGH-IMPACT SUPPLY CHAIN TRANSFORMATIONS

I've worked on projects that saved $5M in inventory and manufacturing costs while implementing enterprise-wide IBP transformations across 30 business units. I also found $80M in additional cost-saving opportunities by developing strategic improvements and benchmarking best practices.

 

LEADING TECHNOLOGY INNOVATIONS FOR MARGIN AND SERVICE-LEVEL IMPROVEMENTS

I've joined forces on the discovery and implementation of planning tools that improved inventory visibility, reduced order-to-cash cycles, and drove over $100M in projected margin gains. I excel at aligning technology solutions with business needs to boost efficiency and profitability.

 

BUILDING HIGH-PERFORMANCE TEAMS TO ACHIEVE BUSINESS GOALS

I believe great supply chains are wound into almost every part of a business. I'm passionate about leading cross-functional teams to optimize processes, reduce costs, and improve forecasting accuracy. I'm known for fostering collaboration between operations and leadership, driving results, and building a culture of continuous improvement.

 

When I’m not hard at work, I am hard at play.  I like to spend time traveling, reading, writing, and trying to keep fit.  I have been an adult leader for my children’s activities over the years, including coaching and officiating--a stressful day in Supply Chain is nothing compared to working a youth soccer game…
